Series Improvements

I just wish a show that purports to be a good zombie series would use a ounce of common sense. Please tell me you'll take some steps to improve basic security. A half an hour with some chain link fence or chicken wire an a box of sheet metal screws would length the life on most of these characters. I can't believe they are still driving around in cars without any added protection. For that matter the farmhouse should be wired shut as well. Just me 2 cents.

Anxious for The Walking Dead Season 3 premeire

It's been a while since I've been online, and I'm so excited for the walking dead to return. I knew when the the last season ended it would be back in October and I was RIGHT! I'm so curious to see what gonna happen and if the virus is airborne / viral. Since I first saw a promo for the show coming back for its new season i made a countdown calender that marks the premiere episode of the season, with that in mind 17 DAYS TIL THE SEASON PREMIERE. I'm so excited! I hope I'm not the only one.

New Fansite

Hello, I am working on a new fan site for the Walking Dead. This site will focus on providing an introduction to the franchise, avoiding any spoilers and simply allowing those who aren't familar with the franchise to get a good idea of what the Walking Dead is truly about.

Keep in mind, that this is currently only a prototype of the site and a temporary url. I've only just started construction on it and probably won't be finished until winter. I'm looking for feedback and the opportunity to advertise it to a few Walking Dead fans.

alternate story lines

I love TWD and i love the telltale game too. one of the greatest things about this is there can be unlimited stories to go along with the ones we are familiar with. I think about when dave told the story of his exodus from philly. they went to DC but couldnt get close. I live near DC and id love to explore this story line. anyone else feel the same way?

Season 2 Limited Edition TWD. "Limited ?"

I received my Season 2 limited edition for my b-day. How limited is this, I am wondering if I should leave it in the box, I already own the DVD, and this gift was because I'm a hugh fan, I want to open it, but I am wondering "how many were made?", I can't find this info anywhere, but based on the amount available on-line, I am thinking it's not "limited" to only a few, I want to know if this was a "limited-run" or "mass produced"? If anyone has this info, I would greatly appreciate the sharing of the knowledge, from one fan to another.

New season

I can hardly wait to see what the would be writers have come up with so I can compare it to what I may have written myself. I would rewind back to the beginning where the crew left a man with an infected bite OR merely a bullet wound fessing because the bullet was not removed. That would be a great start because it allows for the merging of a new crew at a medical centre where some of the old crew start to show up dead, here and there. There is this young man, about 30, that lives in Chatham, Ontario, by the name of Jessie Bellow...he looks like a would be John Bernthal without a broken nose. It will be interesting to say the least. I had nightmares that someone was digging up the old bodies for medical exploration and the whole plague started out all over again. My son and I had nightmares the same night. That's proof of a really good show!

Why should you pay more

Why the hell should we pay more for AMC!!! Everyone wants more money. So does this mean we should all stop working so everyone can get more money so we can pay for gas, gas is on the rise but that doesn't mean people are going to stop getting gas because it cost to much. I don't get why AMC wants every one to drop dish network because they don't want to pay that's not right if that's how AMC wants to be then I am glad I can't watch the shows on AMC, ta hell with the walking dead and all other shows on AMC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!K

Halloween Horror Nights

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but how cool does Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights look this year with the Walking Dead Theme!?!?!?! I live in Florida (yeah I know, don't ask why) and the posters are everywhere....wicked cool....think they should have made it more than just one house dedicated though....they should have made the whole park dedicated....roaming walkers...perhaps the barn...the whole nine yards...i can dream can't I?

Zan's "Idiots Guide To Writing Your Own TWD Deleted Scene"

After watching the "Return To Vatos" deleted scenes, I was struck by how normal, realistic and natural the dialog was as compared to the illogical, nonsensicle and irrelevent dialog contained in most of the scenes of the 19 episodes that didn't end up on the cutting room floor. That being said, the acting and overall camera work in the deleted scenes was some of the worst I have ever seen. No wonder this crap wasn't turned into a 7th episode, season finale for season 1, or used as the opening episode to season 2. It was just that bad.
So it appears to me that the only way Kirkman, Gazzara and the rest can get good acting and camera work from the cast and crew is to write comic book style rambling, pointless dialog for the cast and create unrealistic, confusing, scening jumping action sequences just to get to the really cool shot they actually wanted. But I for one really like this approach, they have been a relatively low-budget B-movie production group that tried to film it like a big budget blockbuster release, and for me, it works!
So, I thought I would write a breif deleted scene to show you how their thought process works. Feel free to experiment with this yourself:

Deleted scene opens as Merle is leaving office building after searing the nub left by amputating his own hand.
He climbs out the window and down the fire escape, cursing under his breath the whole time and plotting his revenge. As he reaches the alley way that leads to the street he is met by a group of heavily armed, tough looking men all dressed in leather. Merle being the smartass that he is says, "Well, who are you guys suppose to be, the San Francisco chapter of the Hells Angels?" He is then immediately butted in the head with the stock of a shotgun and dragged off unconscience.
Reason for scene deletion: Gays and Lesbians Unite protested, not because of the stereotypical assertion that gay men like to parade around in leather, but because they are also anti-gun, which is somewhat of an oximoron for them.

The Black & White remake of the Walking Dead Pilot episode that was aired before the season finale. The Black & White remake was amazing. I was hoping it would be included with the season 2 release.
I am hoping it will be released at some point. How does everyone feel about it???

Some tips for playing TWD FB GAME

While we wait for the new season, you can join Shane and hunt zombies, or look around camp for where Carl got off to this time.....Take some time to just sit and rack up free ammo in the beginning, you'll need it later,,after that gives out,,stock up on energy. Upgrade Shooting, Striking, Movement, Stamina first..drop by the forum for more updates,,,any other tips?
