Blu-Ray vs DVD

Does anyone have the Season 2 Blu-Ray? If so, is it worth the extra money "visually"? I always thought the Walking dead looked sort of grainy (maybe intended to be that way), so I wasn't sure if I should buy the Blu-Ray. If it is better, then I will get Season-1 as well (I already have it on DVD)

Hello fellow Walking Dead junkies! I have a question I hope you can help me with. I have introduced my daughter to the walking dead and she absolutely loved it. We get to bond with a "Daddy ,Daughter" zombie carnage time...It's awesome! Anyway, I was wondering if any of you know of some professional make-up artists (or quality newbies) who do zombie make-up for Halloween? I am in Southern California area.

I think the creators of the show took up part of that weapon idea by Chandler Riggs. When he suggested that he wanted a flame thrower with a bayonet on it.

TV Guide Deleted Scene

I think some how the Governor's forces tricked the vatos into believing that they were friendly towards them. I figured it had to do with some kind of essential supplies as bait. Then when they saw that their trust was gained from the vatos. They then killed them all.

Zombie & Soap

What else is there to say about The Walking Dead?
The pilot opening of the series was briljant... But after that. It became a ZombieSoap. I allmost think that this serie was created by the same people of the Sci-Fi Soap 'Falling Skies', which also had a great opening, but also turned into a soap thing.

seeking new cover songs for zombie band. we already do lots of songs by the Grateful Dead, Zombies, Talking Heads, and songs like Zombie, Killing Me Softly, Piece of My Heart, Rocky Horror songs, Crazy, Death Dont Have No Mercy,etc

we are willing to change some songs to fit this new sub-sub-genre,eg. we changed "Althea" to "Sophia" and it fits !!

The ultimate place to ride out the zombie apocalypse

Personally, I think they should make for a large port, preferably one where you can find a cruise ship. They have tons and tons of food and thousands of gallons of fuel for the generators. You could remove all but one of the gangways to severely restrict access to the ship. The shipping terminals generally have sturdy fences around them providing an extra measure of security.

Yes, it would take awhile to clear the ship and area but the high style of living available would be well worth it. Wouldn't even have to burn the bodies, just toss em over the side!

Walker Senses?

Apologies if this has been discussed before or if it seems to be over-analyzing. Mostly it's just fun to speculate on inconsistencies, although those inconsistencies do detract from the quality of the show's writing. So...

Walkers have demonstrated the ability to hear, smell and probably see - those are all higher brain functions. Yet in S1-E6, Jenner said only the brainstem is restarted. So how come walkers have their senses?

Will we ever see any of The Walking Dead filming winter scenes? It'd be nice to see some of it filmed in snow. It was mentioned in "18 miles out". Any thoughts?

Re-run Fun : Noticing new things

Re-watching S1 (episode: Wildfire) I'm picking up on things that didn't grab me before, like it seems Sophia's doll that Daryl found in the creek in S2 was given to her by Morales' little girl as they split up before heading to the CDC (knowing what I know now, it was a nice but sad touch). And it seemed like something was budding between Jackie and Jim, she also seemed to take him getting bit harder than anyone in the group.

Is that the same one that was seen in the pilot and the last episode of Season two? I wonder how long they have been flying about then? Is it from Ft Benning or is it a National Guard one? Were they to have gone to the CDC to get Jenner or were they just doing reconnaissance?

TWD Social Game

This game seems pretty weak so far. Find some water. Find some food. Find some water. Find some food. Was really looking forward to this game to have a fun timesink while waiting for TWD S3. So far so bad.

hi, guys love the show, who doesn't right .... hey, if you guy ever get canceled or end the show, had an idea for the final episode ...

here we go ....have a film crew member listening to a radio hearing a special report on a some kind of outbreak, you guys can take it from there .....

have a the film crew "filming" .... the film crew and cast members making the final episode and have a horde of zombies come onto the set and attack the x-tra's playing the zombies , just before they arrive on the set, have the director say where the hell are those damn zombies .....

"then he says : well it's about damn time",

You damn people are late, then have them "The Zombies" just tear into the actors and crew .... this would be a great way to end the best show on T.V. .... if u want to contact me

The Walking Dead Olympics

With all the excitement of the Olympics, I decided to make my own version for The Walking Dead. Feel free to add your own ideas !

I would like to present....
The Walking Dead Olympic Games !
*note - Getting eaten by the Walker is an automatic disqualification.

The 100 Walker Dash : Athletes must race to the finish while dodging hungry Walkers.

The Well Drop & Climb : Athletes are lowered by rope into a water well with a bloated Walker at the bottom. The first team to pull their teammate to the surface wins.

Vehicle Shoot : Athletes pass by and shoot Walkers in various moving vehicle.

Walker Kill : The athlete with the most Walker kills within 12 minutes wins. Limited ammo available, no magical shotguns allowed.

Archery (Crossbow) : A game of accuracy, the first athlete to hit the bullseye on the Walker wins.

Find The Kid : Teams of athletes must find the lost, wandering kid before the Walkers do.

Equestrian : Athletes must traverse the course of jumps, barrels and, of course, hungry Walkers.

I want to know how devoted the fans are. Have you read all the comics, have you cried for a character, haveyou met any of the cast, what's your fav character, have you jumped out of your seat, have you watched other things just because one of the actors are in it, Do you own comics, shirts, or action figures? I want to see how much people care about the show. I've done all of this so do you care like I do?

I love the Zombie Apocolypse concept, but OH GOD!

They're in America and only have 2 guns and a hand grenade? What planet is this on?

I'm 2 episodes into the 1st season and wondering if i should waste any more on it.

Does the lead character ever stop reacting to the sight of zombies like he just finished a big bowl of weed with the directors. I'll ride 1000 lbs of living flesh into a mob of FLESH-EATING-ZOMIES ( episode 2). Is the lead characters mental and physical inability to cope with a situation the director/writers way of saying cops are stupid and slow.
Does the deputy sheriff ever grow a pair? After watching him get hit in the mouth and lie on the ground like a unconscious child makes me wonder if this is a badly writen comedy.

every episode, i'm hoping to see some scenes showing us how everything has started, how did the characters survived and came together. so far there were only two scenes as such, i hope they can put more of them! I want to know what happened when Rick was sleeping...

I was wondering whe the Walking Dead Season 2 comes out on DVD? My husband and I have season 1 and want season 2 and have not found it anywhere yet.

Will TWD turn into the Daryl Dixon show?

Norman reedus and Michael rooker are going to be on the cover of EW. Along with the first person shooter game which has been developed does this mean that TWD PTB have been influenced by crazy Norman reedus fans etc. TWD should be the story of Rick Grimes. Just because Norman reedus is on twitter and self promotes like crazy does not mean the show should go down that route. He is at best an average actor not capable of leading the show. I hope I am wrong about all this.

How about......

Replacing that total waste of a time slot , Small Town Security, with reruns of The Talking Dead? It would at least throw a morsel to the starving Walking Dead fans and get rid of an IQ erasing waste of time. I change channels when they run ads for STS.
