When you're using Level 2 and 3 weapons (like the High-End Slugger or the Silenced Sniper Rifle), a "perfect hit" will get you bonus turns and stamina recharges. To get a "perfect hit," attack when the red cross-hairs are perfectly positioned over the walker's head. It's not easy to shoot, slash or bash at that exact moment but it pays to be patient.
