The Walking Dead Receives CAS Award Nomination

Today the Cinema Audio Society announced their nominees for the 48th Annual CAS Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing for 2011, and The Walking Dead was honored with a nod in the Television Series category.
The Walking Dead production mixer Bartek Swiatek along with re-recording mixers Gary D. Rogers and Daniel J. Hiland received the nomination for their work on the Season 2 Premiere, "What Lies Ahead." Together, they'll face the sound teams from HBO's Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire, Showtime's Dexter and AMC's own Breaking Bad for the award.
The awards will be presented during a dinner Sat., Feb., 18th at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.
