Today the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror announced its nominees for the 39th annual Saturn Awards, and The Killing was honored with a total of two nominations for Best Syndicated Cable Television Series and Best Actress (Mireille Enos).

The Killing's nominations are among eleven garnered by AMC this year, with The Walking Dead receiving four nominations, Breaking Bad receiving four, and Hell on Wheels receiving one.

In the Best Syndicated Cable Television Series category, The Killing will square off against HBO's True Blood, Showtime's Dexter, FX's American Horror Story, TNT's Leverage, and AMC's own The Walking Dead.

In the Best Actress category, Mireille Enos will face Moon Bloodgood from TNT's Falling Skies, Sarah Paulson from FX's American Horror Story: Asylum, Charlotte Riley from Reelz's Ken Follett's World Without End, Tracy Spiridakos from NBC's Revolution, and Anna Torv from Fox's Fringe.

The 39th annual Saturn awards will be presented at a ceremony slated to take place this June.
