And speaking of life on Mars, how about "Red Mars"?

Was it October last year that there was a press release that said amc would be making a mini-series based on Kim Stanley Robinson's book I think? So of course the question is, anything? any news? anyone? Someone had to ask because us KSR fans have been through this before where the Sci-Fi channel said they were making it a few years back and then nothing happened.
