I don't know when "Quigley Down Under" was made but I want to say that I saw it today, 12/10/08 on AMC. It was very pleasing to see most of the movie presented rather than the SERIOUSLY edited version shown on most other channels. I understand that some scenes had to be edited because of nudity or extreme profanity but at least the opening and the fire near the end were both present. Thank you. The scene with the rude man just debarking from the ship may not have been necessary to the entire story, but it did help set the mood. The fire does a lot to explain what happened before Quigley gets back to Marston Waters. Again, thank you much for showing this fine film. Wade.
