X-Files: I Want to Believe
So is it just me or what? I saw "I Want to Believe" and I am wondering if anyone else who saw the movie noticed this: When Mulder is following the tow truck and is trying to call Scully he is scrolling through his address book in his cell phone. Right before the accident he stops scrolling on the name Gillian -- not Scully, but Gillian. Did anyone else see this?

I haven't yet seen it, but I'll definitely look out for it. I'll bet if there is a goof like that though, moviemistakes.com will have caught it. You can check there...
Thanks for the tip. I didn't know about that web site. And sure enough it was there.
hi.. It's good that there are people noticed what I have seen. Yes, I did see this funny scene when Mulder tried to call Scully but he rolled the row to Gillian. I watched it on 2 Aug 2008. Cheers!!
The real question is, what did you all think of the movie (minus the mistakes, of course!) I think it was under-rated, and fit well in the pantehon of the great Monster-of-the-Week episodes of the series. Was it good for a mainstream audience? Perhaps not so much, which defeats the purpose of doing an MOW. But for us fans, a welcome return I think!
I had noticed this too, but when I looked it up on IMDB, it turns out the name is Gilligan, not Gillian. Vince Gilligan was a writer-producer on the series. Other names on the phone screen are [Rob] Bowman [directed the first movie] and [John] Shiban [another producer]. I am glad someones eyes are sharper than mine.
As for the movie, it was not a blockbuster, but a good solid film. I found it ultimately more satisfying than The Dark Knight [Am I allowed to say that!?].
Woah woah woah -- I'm a big X Files fan, but I cannot say that it was more satisfying than the Dark Knight! You can, of course.
I love that detail about Vince Gilligan, who just happens to be the creator of AMC's Breaking Bad -- great catch rixamc!
I saw that it was Gilligan and I smiled in the darkness. "Bread crumbs", some people call 'em...
I liked both movies, but The Dark Knight was really something special.
