What Weapon Is the Deadliest in SciFi?
Throughout the history of scifi, the weapons have made the man, and now it's your turn to determine just which one reigns supreme. Does realism count, and if so, should the M41a Pulse Rifle of Aliens prevail? And if it's size that matters, does that mean that the BFG of Doom would automatically overpower the Fifth Element's Zorg ZF-1 as seen above, a gun that even comes with a rocket launcher, net thrower and ice cube freeze system? Go to the polls and decide.

I can't believe a weapon with a "stun" setting is currently in a leading position for the title of DEADLIEST weapon in sci fi. Trek fans, that is not logical!
Bonus points for the Gary Oldman eye candy, challenging RDJ's Tony Stark for Most Roguishly Handsome Heavy Weapons Manufacturer.
"ZERO STONES, ZERO! CRATES!"
I was thinking something more along the lines of the Death Star, Vorlon and Shadow planet killers, nova bombs, tailored nano-plagues, Picard's speeches, singularity projectors and such. Wasn't there something or another in Lexx that annihilated half the universe? Heck, Cylons could count as 'weapons' really and they slagged 12 planets.
Phasers? Pfft! A freakin' Thompson sub-machine gun was about a hundred times more effective against the Borg. A holographic Tommy-gun at that! Oh and then Worf just whips out a knife and shivs a Borg drone? "We've adapted to your phaser fire, but this sharpened hunk of pot-iron is a new one on us!"
Trek. Pah.
