Yeah, I saw this movie, Dark City was cool.
Yeah, I saw it, I loved it, and I still own it on VHS. It's great to hear that the director's edition has been released, now I have a very good reason to buy it on DVD.
My only disappointment was that it was grossly overshadowed by The Matrix. Don't get me wrong, I love The Matrix even more, it just had more meat to it, but Dark City was still excellent. I loved The City of Lost Children, too.
I think an amazon spree is in order!
Dark City, where aliens study human psychology by moving around buildings at night. It's worse than the episode of Star Trek where omnipotent aliens put Kirk on a planet with no water, because the aliens don't understand what it's like to be thirsty. That episode doesn't exist, but you get the idea. Dark City sucks, Kevin, admit it.
