Ever see "Josie and the Pussycats"? It's pretty much the same, only no devil, just some music producers that want to turn your average listener into trendoids.
We did get the creative trio from "Robot Chicken" in it. :D
Doesn't "The Apple" also have a crazy scene where there are mandatory times designated for dancing to music? I thought I saw a scene once where everybody, no matter what they were doing (even surgery) had to break it down on command. Maybe I've got the wrong movie... Great episode, by the way!
Yes that is the same movie. You can watch THE APPLE trailer here:

The dancing during surgery scene is in the first 20 seconds.
Um...the plot of THE APPLE has absolutely nothing to do with the U.S. government. The whole thing was shot in Berlin!
And how can you do a segment connecting AMERICAN IDOL with THE APPLE without noting that THE APPLE's choreographer Nigel Lythgoe is one of IDOL's longtime producers?
A little research, people...
What does it say about me that The Apple is one of my all-time faves? Oh wait... that I'm a loser. I keep forgetting that. Oh and Mr. Bugaloo's hot!
