Sorry, Will, you've got another Wild Wild West on your hands. If Hancock ends up bleeding cash will studio suits re-think director Peter Berg's big budget adaptation of Dune? Time will tell ...
New York always gets the smashy-smashy attention. In a Houston opening night screening of 'Independence Day' the audience hooted and hollered (and whooped?) with glee when the alien ship threatened Houston. But then all we got was a tank going up a freeway ramp under a 'University of Houston exit' sign. Alien invaders, have you never set your sights on the Astrodome? The Enron Building? These are great opportunities to expand your intergalactic empire, especially if your species flourishes in humidity, sweltering heat, and BBQ.
