Hulk Night Smashes Fourth Wall
Hulk fans -- or those in the New York City area -- don't have to wait until June to see the green guy on the silver screen. On Tuesday, January 22, AMC web-personality Kevin Maher (that's me) is hosting Hulk Night, a live counterpart to his SciFi Department web show. Only now it's 90 minutes long. This inaugural evening will showcase vintage cartoons and live-action clips of The Incredible Hulk.
The feature presentation is an episode of the 1970's TV series starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno: "Metamorphosis" is packed with glam rock, death fantasies, an indictment of the music industry, and an LSD freak-out by Banner AND his alter ego. This is my favorite episode. Criminally, "Metamorphosis" is not available on DVD. Consider this your chance in a lifetime.
Trivia, prizes, free snacks, and Hulk Haikus (written by some of the country's best spoken nerd poets.) Plus a surprise guest! What more could you ask?
For tickets, check out The Horse Trade Theater website. If you're not in New York City, you'll just have to wait until the show goes on tour.

Kind of frustrating that I had to read this whole entry before learning that it was not only not being shown on AMC, but is in New York (where I'm guessing one or two of us do not live).
Rebecca - Sorry about making you do that extra reading. Fixed with an edit.
This is exciting news.
