The First Four Minutes of Bender's Big Score
After three years of chomping at the bit, Futurama fans were finally rewarded for their loyalty with the first of a series of four direct-to-DVD movies, Bender's Big Score.
I've seen it, and it's great, running the gamut from a series of bizarre, noggin-melting time travel paradoxes precipitated by a mysterious tattoo of Bender found on Fry's ass. There's nudity, narwhals, beer-guzzling robots, bling-encrusted Death Stars, Harlem Globetrotters, and naked, shell-less crustaceans. It's Futurama back in fine form.
If you're still on the fence as to whether to pick this up — and you shouldn't be — MTV has been kind enough to post the first four minutes of Bender's Big Score for everyone to watch, in which Hermes engages in a futuristic saber limbo. Enjoy.
