Aping the ubiqutious opening couch gag through the lens of George Lucas, Animator Rich Cando has put together this incredible homage to both The Simpsons and Star Wars.

Bluntly, the animation isn't really as good as The Simpsons', but I appreciate the small touches: Bart as Luke Skywalker, leaping not onto his skateboard, but into an X-Wing. Homer as Darth Vader, his lightsaber taking the place in his collar in place of the glowing nuclear rod. And who could be more perfect a Han Solo than Ned Flanders, who ends up encased in carbonite on the Simpsons' garage wall? Genius.
