Missing in Action
The vision: The Vietnam War as revenge fantasy.
The story: It's 1984. The U.S. government has selected Colonel James Braddock to investigate reports of still-missing POWs. Braddock plows though the landscape, killing anything that moves with any weapon available. Attempting to rewrite history, Missing in Action taps into the public's lingering angst and acts out dreams of finishing the job.
