Like a bratty 6-year-old who's nearly grown out of his trademark gray suit, PeeWee Herman displays an anarchic spirit; he's also lovable and slightly strange. Burton’s bow-tied, whiny-voiced man-child goes road-tripping in search of his stolen bike and finds an America that's a lot like him: A little off-center, and sometimes cruel. He's a loner. A rebel. And a freak -- but a relatively normal one, so he's squeaks onto the list in tenth place.
