The Movie: The Santa Clause (1994)
The Santa: Tim Allen knew he was on to something good when The Santa Clause grossed over $144 million Stateside. He made two more movies as Scott Calvin, the hapless Everyman who reluctantly takes over as the next Santa. Once he stubbornly dons the red suit, the transformation begins, and Allen handles the metamorphosis with his typical goofy charm. He's not the best Santa in history, but his corny humor would make even George C. Scott's Scrooge crack a smile.
