Two Weeks Notice (2002)
Somewhere between Working Girl and Two Weeks Notice, the poor innocent female employee stopped needing a protector and became capable of taking on her buffoon of a boss on her own. She also happened to fall for him, but she can handle his self-centeredness because she's just as smart and driven. It's one part Working Girl, one part An Officer and a Gentleman, and a whole lot of High Grant thrown in for good measure.
