The Classic Line: "I told my wife I wouldn't drink tonight. Besides, I got a big day tomorrow. You guys have a great time."
Why It's a Breakout Movie: Sometimes Ferrell doesn't seem to be doing anything special--just taking a bad joke farther than another comedian might. But in Old School, this brand of excess serves him well as Hank the Tank. And while it seems dumb to talk about "dimension" here, Hank does give the two sides of his character ample room to breathe--there's responsible husbandly Hank, and there's Hank the Tank, at the wrong end of a beer funnel again.
