Bill Murray in Caddyshack (1980)

Why It's a Breakout Movie: Bull Murray brings to life one of the immortal characters of screwball comedy, the psychotic groundskeeper Carl Spackler. He dynamites gophers, fantasizes about the female club regulars, and plays Greek chorus by commenting on the action. And as star-studded as Caddyshack is (everyone is in it, from Rodney Dangerfield to Chevy Chase), it is the psychotic Spackler that audiences remember most fondly and most often quote.
