The Movie: This Kate Hudson vehicle comes courtesy of Garry Marshall, who pretty much invented the chick flick with Pretty Woman and Runaway Bride.
Before the Kiss: Hudson plays a New York modeling agent whose life tailspins when her sister dies and leaves behind three children. As an insta-parent, she meets a sexy, uh, pastor (John Corbett). Clearly, she's got a stereotype to overcome.
After the Kiss: When these two kiss, it's not just the beginning of a romance; it's an entry into adulthood. Hudson's character has put her swinging days behind her. She's already got a brood. Now she's found a soul mate.
