8. Dogma (1999)

So what if it's a lightweight entry on the religious-movie scene? Kevin Smith's satirical take on the teachings of the Bible is enjoyably irreverent and stars Salma Hayek as the naughty muse Serendipity, Chris Rock as the "thirteenth apostle," Ben Affleck and Matt Damon as fallen angels, and Alanis Morrissette as God. Need we say more?
