3. The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975)

Still playing midnight shows more than three decades after its release, Rocky Horror throws virginal "squares" Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon) together with a gender-bending extra-terrestrial (Tim Curry) in a wacky retelling of the Frankenstein story. This campy, culty musical makes no sense at all -- which is why it registers no longer -- although that doesn't matter in the slightest for those of us who have never stopped doing the "Time Warp."
