Pat and Mike

Once again, Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy upend gender roles. Hepburn is Pat, a star golfer with a domineering fiancé. Tracy is an unscrupulous promoter. Not only is Hepburn the one with the athletic talent, but her fiancé takes on the role that countless women would play later: wet blanket and killer of athletic dreams. Hepburn and Tracy are charismatic as always and way ahead of their time.
