10. Follow the Sun (1951)
A war-hero becomes a successful athlete, only to suffer a devastating accident from which he may never walk again. Somehow, our hero recovers and not only walks, he becomes one of the greatest athletes of all time. Based on real-life golf legend Ben Hogan, this movie was made in 1951, long before the storyline became a sports film cliché, so we'll cut this flick a break.
