Janie Bryant on Trudy Campbell’s Kentucky Derby party dress (Ep. 3): "I've always loved Trudy! She's so much fun to design for, her character is so whimsical and girly in a different way – plus she's the character that keeps up with the pulse of fashion. The dress is a silk chiffon paisley-printed dress with the little funnel neck collar and accordion pleated skirt. It was perfect for Derby Day because it’s totally her style, and I loved how it looks flapper-esque when she does the Charleston. The dancing and movement of the skirt were perfect for the scene."
