Fairy tales can happen in the workplace too. In this case it's an evil boss (Sigourney Weaver) who overworks and under-appreciates Tess (Melanie Griffith), on top of stealing her ideas and passing them off as her own. Using her wiles to get noticed, Griffith bags a promotion and the hot prince in one fell swoop. But what puts the movie at the top of the heap is that only at the very last moment, does the always-humble Tess realize that she's surpassed her station in life.
