Lifeboat (1944)
The Murderers: In this World War II-era drama, Tallulah Bankhead, Henry Hull, Mary Anderson, and other lifeboat survivors discover their primitive sides as they struggle to survive in the vast Atlantic.
The Weapon: Bankhead and others beat Nazi submariner Walter Slezak to death with their bare hands. Slezak was on the U-boat that sank the survivors' ship, and he had to abandon ship himself. But Bankhead and others don't murder him for revenge. They murder him after they notice him sweating -- evidence that Slezak has been hoarding precious water and other supplies.
