Things aren't going so well for John Quincy Archibald (Denzel Washington). When his factory gig is reduced to part-time, the hard-working family man looks for a second job, but is deemed "overqualified." Struggling to make ends meet, he remains positive for the sake of his wife and son. But when his health insurance won't cover his child's heart transplant, John flips out. Out of money and out of options, this down-on-his-luck dad tries to force the doctors to do their duty by taking hostages at the hospital.
