I had taped this movie a number of years ago and misplaced my copy. I would love to see this classic about a boy and his bird dog "Promise". It is not available on vhs or dvd at all. Only the 1972 (disappointing) version can be found.
Where is the westerns? I am just a viewer but I would like to see WESTERNS Starrett, Rogers, Maynard, McCoy, Holt, Lane, Aurtry, Tex Ritter, Johnny Mack Brown, Red Ryder & Little Beaver, and all those old classic Westerns. Somebody let me know when "real" classic westerns will be aired.

Maybe you can help me. AMC has these short, "back-to-the-program" commercials. Tehn only last a few seconds and appear right before the show/movie resumes. Well, there is a great electronica beat that is used in one of these short promos and I don't know what song it is. I have only heard it one other time at http://www.mtv.com/videos/misc/137362/too-young.jhtml#id=1601812 . If you fast-forward this MTV show to the 6:42 you can hear the song I am talking about. I would love to know what song it is. Any help is appreciated
