The Newsdesk 06.26.09 - Hollywood Remembers Michael Jackson; Revenge of the Fallen Keeps Truckin'

• Steven Spielberg is just one of the Hollywood heavyweights paying tribute to Michael Jackson, who died at age 50. Remember the King of Pop with his obit, and this clip from Captain EO.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is looking to have a banner weekend with $60.6 mil worth of tickets already sold.

• Hollywood is also remembering the late Farrah Fawcett, who passed away from cancer at age 62.

• Before the death of her brother was announced, Janet Jackson was confirmed to star in Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too?. Just like Teen Wolf Too! He was a teen wolf also.

• Studios are wary of the new ten movie rule for Oscar Best Picture race. They don't think they can release ten decent movies in one year.

• The first official trailer for Amelia, Hilary Swank's take on Amelia Earhart, has debuted. Kind of prefer Amy Adams in Night at the Museum 2, actually.

Results of the Michael Jackson autopsy have thus far been inconclusive, but controversial. The first and second Michael Jackson autopsy haven't clearly identified a cause of death, and the toxicology report is going to take a few weeks before it's finished. There was a report in which the singer was said to be severely undernourished, in fact starved, and had gone almost entirely bald by the time of his death, with pills being the only content of his stomach. Dr. Conrad Murray, Jacksons’ personal physician, and others as being only rumor flatly denied it. The accuracy of the rumor over the Michael Jackson autopsy is unknown, but many would give fast cash to find out.
