Ask Cameron Diaz Your Questions

As part of the upcoming AMC Storymakers special, hosts Peter Bart and Peter Guber will be interviewing Cameron Diaz. This time around, they're looking for your input.
One or more questions (about her professional career) will be chosen from those submitted in the comments section below. Wonder what her favorite movie is? Curious if she still gets stopped in the street and asked what's that in her hair? Now's your time to let her know. Post your question below before noon (EST) on Thu., Apr. 30.
AMC Storymakers will air Fri., May 15 @ 10PM | 9C.

Hi Cameron,
My favorite character of all your movies, is Lotte from Being John Malkovich. Who has been your favorite character to play and why?
Do you feel like it's harder to be taken seriously as an actress having come from a background as a model? What was the first movie you were in where you felt like you'd crossed over from model to actress?
What kind of extra challenges (or opportunities) does voicing an animated film present you with?
Do you prefer acting in comedies, dramas or action films?
You've worked with some amazing directors- Curtis Hanson, Cameron Crowe, Spike Jonze, Richard Kelly... Do directors usually approach you for parts? Or do you reach out to them, or audition, etc?
I want to touch base on the absence of that other man from your life: Oscar. Other than Being John Malkovich, Gangs of NY and (possibly) My Sister's Keeper, you tend towards lighter films which don't really qualify you for an Oscar (IMHO). Is winning one on your "to do" list, or is it something you'd sacrifice in order to make films you enjoy?
Ps, despite the trashing I've seen about What Happens In Vegas, I actually enjoyed it more than I did The Holiday; that ending left more questions than answers.
I can't resist another "no comment" question: Given that Art immitates Life and vice versa, are we going to see something similar happening in your life that happened to Amanda and Graham in The Holiday anytime soon?
Hi Cameron,
Will you be making any Movies in Michigan? West Michigan has a studio in progress and it is fan..tas...tic here. People don't realize what a beautiful state Michigan is. Ludington has the most amazing State Park and we have soft sandy beaches. Miles and miles of them.
If you work in Michigan, I would love to meet you. I am a new Production Assistant and love the work! Your movies are great!
do you ever get people coming up to you and taking you to task for actions your characters have taken? or people who think you are really like those characters?
Which actors / actresses have been the biggest influence on you in regards to the way that you developed your style of acting? and which actors / actresses have been the most inspiring for you to work with?
