AMC speeding up movies?

Was just watching First Blood and the movie was obviously running faster than normal speed. It was especially noticable whenever Richard Crenna spoke, his voice was too high pitched. The movies are already edited, do we need them sped up too?

Maybe the Earth was just spinning faster during that particular point in time. Did you ever think about that?

If you're going to make it in this world you are going to have to think outside the box. Do it quick, man. Otherwise, you will likely fall victim to wolves and other large predators.

The earth was spinning faster during Terminator 2 too...I taped AMC's broadcast of it and compared the tape to my dvd of T2. AMC's broadcast raced scenes ahead of the dvd.

Noonan posted, "Do it quick, man"...soon to be AMC's motto.
