Why not a Barracuda sea monster movie?

Hollywood has had a love affair with sea monsters since day one, but they never used a barracuda. We all know the great Jaws movie and the many spinoffs. There have been numerous films featuring alligators, pirahna, octopus, squid, orca, crocodiles etc. Why not a barracuda? They are fearsome and are armed with an awesome arsenal of razor sharp teeth. A newly published book titled, Barracuda, would be a great horror movie. The author, Mike Monahan, starts with the radiated waters of Bikini Atoll to inspire his tale of a mutant barracuda. If you liked Jaws, you'll love Barracuda. Maybe Hollywood will see the benefit of using a different sea monster to terrorize us in the future.
