Scariest Stephen King Movie
the scariest stephen king movie is in my opinion was carrie, the stupidest one was it.

the top three scariest stephen king movies in my opinion, are as follows, carrie, the shining, misery.
My top three King's would probably be:
1) Misery (I hope to never become a famous writer)
2) The Shining (Kubrick -- I know he made a lot of changes, but you can't beat Nicholson)
3) The Stand (That opening about the worldwide virus still haunts me)
1) Carrie (I can't explain it, but I still jump every time that hand comes out!)
2) Pet Sematary (We watched this one New Year's Eve when my older son was very small, after he had gone to bed. I was petrified to realize that he had the same weird giggle that Gage in the movie did. I almost didn't want to sleep that night because I was afraid we'd be murdered in our beds!)
3) The Secret Window (Even though the story is similar to the Shining, I'm much more frightened by this one for some reason. For one thing, it's shorter and there's not the build-up...he's just suddenly batty.)
Hm.. scariest Stephen King films. Well,..the shining is awesome one of my faves, but it wasnt that scary because it didnt really deal with anythinng otherworldly. There is a chance to escape. So when I was younger I would have to say that Pet sematary scared the shit out of me..hands down. Ah man, I was so young at the time and I just remember it was so scary but I couldnt take my eyes off of it. That movie was so eerie and screwed up. I never looked at a cat the same way again. And the creepy ass old man next door freaked me out. Everytime I see that movie I still hope that little adorable gage doesn't get ran over. That was so messed up but great at the same time. I can still see that little red shoe flying through the air. And the seen with the wife's ill sister and her head spins around, ugh...yeah I had to cover my eyes. That movie was freaky because it was otherworldly. things coming back from the dead with the living they barely a chance of survival. Huh.. it was all inspired by King's real life cat getting ran over. Amazing. The second King film when I was little would have to be IT who would of thought that the Tranvestite from transelvannia(rocky horror picture show) would make such a freaky ass clown! Again another otherworldly film about a demonic clown who preys on you by presenting your worst fears and only kids can see him! 2 great films from the sickly brilliant mind of Mr. Stephen King.
*Sometimes dead is better*-p3t sematary
Scariest moments of Pet Sematary:
--Zelda (still gives me nightmares)
--Achilles heel slicing (still makes me shiver)
Even though I rate it as number two for movies,"Pet Sematary" is, I think, the scariest Stephen King book (at least so far). When I first read it, I was living in a house in the middle of a couple hundred acres and literally couldn't see another house from my front porch. Really isolated and spooky and not the place to be when reading horror novels. I would read a few chapters and then "hide" it from myself. Of course, I knew where it was and after a while, my curiosity would get the better of me and I'd have to dig it out and read a little more.
I also lived there when "The Silence of the Lambs" came out.
well not too many actually scare me anymore just gross me out. i would have to say cujo was a might scary tho the first time you watch, book was better tho. pet semetary was pretty scarey too, creepy too.
