Actors stepping behind the camera are nothing new. In the days of silent movies, Charlie Chaplin helmed and headlined pictures. Robert Redford’s directorial debut, Ordinary People, struck Oscar gold (Best Director and Picture). Clint Eastwood did the same with Unforgiven. Even sexy siren Angelina Jolie recently called the shots for In the Land of Blood and Honey (in theaters now).
