What makes a great Western? Judging from the opinions of AMC's viewers, who've been voting on the greatest Westerns of all time, the answer is simple: John Wayne. The Duke is the star of the top four movies (as well as No. 10), while Clint Eastwood has only two pics ranking in the top tier. The current lineup is as follows:
