Halloween Leads AMC Fearfest Awards for Palme d'Gore, Scream Queen, and Director
Election Day isn't until Tue., Nov. 2, but voting has been going on for nearly two weeks in the AMC Fearfest Awards. The polls close tomorrow, when AMC Fearfest comes to an end.
Currently, Halloween is due to clean up. The movie looks set to walk away with four out of five awards: the Palme d'Gore, Scream Queen (for Jamie Lee Curtis), Evil Genius (for John Carpenter), and Screamwriting (for Carpenter and Debra Hill).
The Bleeding Man competition is the one category where Halloween doesn't lead. (Probably because it didn't have a contender.) Instead, Jack Nicholson (The Shining) holds the lead for the best-actor award, although Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead II) has been gaining ground.
Feel differently? Now is the time to vote. You've got until Sun., Oct. 31, to turn the tide in all five categories.
