Backstabbing and Poisoning Dominate Evil Stepmothers Tournament

If you think mother-daughter relationships can be fraught, consider the stepmother-stepdaughter variety, what with its battles over ball gowns and suitors, and the base life-threatening measures that often ensue (think poisoned apples). As far as cinema is concerned, it's always Stepmother's fault. Stepmothers and stepdaughters: It's complicated.
