Trailer of the Week - The Lovely Bones

If you were under the impression that the big screen adaptation of the bestseller The Lovely Bones was going to fall flat, the trailer for Peter Jackson's new flick has a nice thing or two in store. Based on the story of a murdered girl (Soairse Ronan) who helps her family solve her mysterious death (from the other side, no less), The Lovely Bones is just as you'd expect from Jackson even in this shortened format: Visually stunning and more than a little fantastic. Throughout this anticipatory two minutes, a sense of suspense pervades. In addition to affording us a beautiful vision of heaven (magical trees) and grief (Rachel Weisz even looks good crying), there's also a creepiness that evolves as the family seeks to catch the killer (Stanley Tucci).
