The Newsdesk 07.09.09 - Moore Doc Gets Title; Will Smith Reunites With Legend Director

• Will Smith will reteam with his I Am Legend director Francis Lawrence for the sailing drama City That Sailed. Great news -- there hasn't been a decent sailing movie since Captain Ron.

• Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen passed the $300 million mark in just fourteen days. If this thing beats The Dark Knight, we have no one to blame but ourselves.

• Scooby Doo director Raja Gosnell will helm the Smurfs movie for Columbia Pictures and Sony Animation. Terrifyingly, it will be released in 3D.

• Michael Moore's next documentary will be titled Capitalism: A Love Story. Our guess is it's supposed to be ironic.

• Cameron Diaz might join Seth Rogen in Michel Gondry's Green Hornet. And just when it was starting to have potential.

• Hulu is streaming the first eight minutes of The Hurt Locker for free. Is the country ready for eight free minutes of an Iraq War movie?
