Opening Night - For Will Ferrell, Land of the Lost Is Like Jurassic Park Meets Sophie's Choice

Good times with the Land of the Lost cast this past week. I first got to sit down with Will Ferrell, Danny McBride, Anna Friel and director Brad Silberling at the junket at the Hollywood Palladium. Then we met again the following day on the red carpet for the premiere of the film at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. Of course, you'd know that already if you followed AMC News on Twitter.

I wore a new pair of glasses, a little bit thicker in frame and lens, and I think it helped the cast and Silberling remember me from the previous day. Also at the premiere were Sid and Marty Krofft, the creators of the Land of the Lost TV series, which is now 35 years old, 9 years older than me -- but I remember Land of the Lost from the short-lived 1990s TV series.

After you see the film, you'll see why AMC News could have very well been in the reporter opening scene instead of that other guy... from that other show... on that other network. After all, I'm always down to interview a Quantum Paleontologist.
