Tribeca Film Festival 2009 - Fest Co-Founder Advocates Escapism

Right after the opening press conference of the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival, I spent some time with Jane Rosenthal, the cofounder of the festival. She answered my question about the importance of escapist movies at this year's fest, saying "we all need to laugh -- it's been a long winter for all of us."

I've seen her a couple of times since getting here, and she's a big fan of Twitter. The festival is on Twitter, and of course so are we. Check us both out.
