AFI Dallas 2009 - The Brothers Bloom Director Cons the Con Men

The red carpet for The Brothers Bloom took place in a Dallas mall, but that didn't stop the fans from showing up, or star Adrien Brody from acknowledging them. Pre-interview, director Rian Johnson turned the tables on AMC News' Jacob Soboroff, snapping a photo of him before explaining how he conned his stars into appearing in the film... as con men. Continuing the theme of life-imitating-art, Johnson said promoting The Brothers Bloom has been a globe-trotting experience similar to the movie's storyline.
