Did Oscar Get It Right?
From Kate Winslet's win for The Reader to Heath Ledger's family accepting his Best Supporting Actor award for The Dark Knight, this year's Academy Awards ceremony was full of moving moments. (And endless montages, and lavish musical numbers.) But did Oscar get it right? Best Picture winner Slumdog Millionaire was heavily favored going into the show, and won nearly every category it was nominated for, but the lead acting awards were up in the air until the moment they were announced -- neither Winslet nor Sean Penn were considered shoo-ins. Should Meryl Streep have walked off with a statuette? Should Mickey Rourke? How do you feel about the winners? View the complete list below, then let us know how you would have voted in the comments section below.
