Why do they always leave out some of the Jack Ryan movies when they show a series? Doesn't anybody like the Sum of All Fears? I thought Ben Afleck made a good Jack Ryan. Why did they have so many different actors play the character?
Actually Jack Ryan was the Acting Deputy Director of Intelligence for the CIA.
From my time in the Marine Corps, I had some intructors at Cherry Point who in prior TOD's were fleetside on carriers. One said, during this time period, there a few nights where F/A-18 hornets were loaded with Laser Guided bombs and returned a few hours later, before dawn, empty. Conspiracy Theorist I am not. I am interested in truth, and this one, on the surface of it, was based partially on a real war against drugs.
