Bring back The Universal Monsters by Popular Demand!
The majority of all your viewers are requesting the old Classic Universal Monsters! Not just the old but also the young viewers. This is in high demand this year and well deserved and long over due! I/we truly hope you can retain most of these classics starting with Dracula from 1931, to The Mummy also 1931, The Wolfman 1942, and of course Frankenstein from 1931. And to mention all the Sequels which followed after!
Each Blog has stated the return of The Universal Monsters! I do hope you AMC will apprecite this and fullfill your horror fans wishes

I hope that u bring back the old movie monsters, but also have the Halloween films !-VII. I really didn't like last years monster fest, especially the commercials for monsterfest....they weren't creepy or eerie like past monsterfest commercials. Especially that music u had for the commerials last year...HORRIBLE!!!! Go back to monsterfest roots and extend the time of monsterfest, instead of just 10 days/...I'm one of many who will watch amc october 1st till nov 1st if monsterfest lasted the whole monrth. Extended monsterfest for the whole month will be beneficial 2 u because yoiull get a lot more viewers...PLEASE EXTEND IT!!!!
I'm so glad there are others like Slick Nick and Rebecca that share my feelings on last year's Monsterfest. I really hope AMC goes with more old school movies this year. Also, show more than the same three movies. Mix it up and extend Monsterfest for the whole month. Halloween has become a huge holiday, not only for children, but adults too. Please, push the envelope this year, and show some actual classics. I will be waiting with baited breath.

I too am a fan of the oldie monsters. AMC will announce its October lineup shortly, for now, how about a rank of the top five classic monsters?

My list is topped by Dracula! I really don't care for the others much at all.
What is a classic in 2008? To the young kids it would be the 80’s horror slasher flicks, which is my generation. (Class of 1985.) So with this said I would say my all time three fav’s will be, Jason of course, Michael Myers, and yes even Freddy.
Now as far as the true Blue classics, I would have to say, The Wolfman, Dracula, and The Mummy.
I don't think the demand for the Universal Monsters is that popular. You can go to TCM if you want that.
I am so excited that they are bringing back the monsters.YEAH..i love watching them during the month of October and cannot wait to see the lineup!! October is my favorite time of year because of all the ghoulish movies!!! I would also love to see all the Vincent Price movies (like all the edgar allen poe) ones he did!
I was wondering if they could bring back the the other classics like The Black Cat with Karloff and Lugosi or The Alligator People w/ Lon Chaney. Or maybe even The House Of Dracula and The House Of Frankenstein. Man those black&white films are the bomb. Those were real Monster movies! Not like the ones today.
