How to bring back the old MonsterFest feel in 08
1.lots of classics along with newer flicks.
2.a host to guide the madness ( Corman was great).
3. a large interactive web site not just 1 page of stuff I'm talking about the old sites like the Transylvania Film Institute ( i particularly enjoyed the bowling and golf game,and Monster College Aptitude Test ).
Thats just a short list of some things i would like to see comment if u have any additions.

Mix the pot a little bit instead playing movies over and over again no offense but I have seen the horror line up of this month about 3-4 time every Friday. I was over joyed to see some black and white like a The House of Frankenstein. Please mix the good newer with the great older and you would have a dynamite MonsterFest for 08! P.S. (Choose me for your host .) lol
Well I think that we need better villians in horror movies, the old horror movies with the monsters were scary . There were good villians in the 80's I mean freddy krueger was scary as hell. Today I think what they need to do is create villians that represent old and new ideas.
You cant miss if you bring back the Hammer movies & AIP movies especially the Italian ones with the bad dubbing.The reason is, no matter how insatiable todays kids are those movies were good and weird.You will attract adults and children alike.Right now I'm trying to find "frankensteins bloody Terror" and Vampire Circus" you cant tell me those arent real classics.
I pray to God and the baby Jesus that AMC doesn’t repeat the same horrible lineup as last year. Last time I looked, its American Movie Classics, and Scream 3 doesn’t qualify as any sort of classic. I took a few days off of work to catch some of Monster fest last year and was supremely disappointed. If they want to show movies like Scream 3, then fine. However, showing it 20+ times during the month is crap. Meanwhile, they show Halloween only a few times. I’d like to see more black & white classics, or maybe some Texas Chainsaw. I will watch Monster fest again, but if they show, “The Frighteners” on a continuous loop, I will be pissed.
Mix in horror movies old and new but don't forget the kids. They are as much to do with halloween than the adults. Movies like,
1. Monster squad
2. Wraped up
3. The little vampire
Now I know the kid have their own network but as an adult I think it would be a nice assortment of viewing. For me more sci fi THE DAY OF THE TRIFFIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THATS MORE amc's style anyway.
Halloween has changed to more of an adult holiday rather then a children holiday.
I know this is a shame and very sad. I do have a whole theory on this but this is for another Blog.
AMC should leave well enough alone and let us big kids have some fun. The kids have 13-Days on the Disney Network and even The Family Channel.
Let us have PG to NR-17 horror please….
