31-Days of Horror vs. only 13?
How does everyone feel about having 31-Days of horror?
I myself think this is a terrific idea and incredibly possible.
Once October hits its pure Autumn/Halloween season, so why
not take full advantage and fun of this glorious month?
You can easily fill the calendar with 24/7 great classic horror with out
sequels or remakes. (Not that there is anything wrong with a good sequel or re-make?)
I can make a list off the top of my head of at least 100 great and I do mean great not cheesy horror movies to fill your October schedule.
If AMC is concerned of losing a fan base of regular viewers for this month I can assure you you will be wrong. Your horror fan base is huge, and keeps growing.
Have you ever heard of a Comedy or Drama fest? NO!
Why does Christmas get 31-Days and Halloween only 13 when Halloween is the 2nd biggest holiday?

I am in full agreement. My only counter-argument would be that whereas Christmas movies seem only relevant during Christmas time, every day is good for horror in my book!

I completely agree! The Horror movies fan base now is huge and growing. Really, they should play horror movies all the time. But There should definitely be 31 days of Halloween!!! It would increase amc's ratings. That would e a badass marathon!! They should put up polls and take requests for the best horror movies to so we get a mix of the classics and the more modern ones.
I agree completely too. 13 days is great, but 31 would be better (by far).

Now that most of us are in an agreement with 31-Days of Halloween Horror, do you think AMC even reads these emails? Nor do you think they will even carry out our wishes? I sure hope so!
Lets keep the emails coming in hopes to have AMC’s staff informed and inspired to do the right thing for their fans. Maybe not for this year cause I am sure they already have their same lame line-up of horror. (No offense AMC.) Of scheduled repeats and sequels.
Lets work together in a horror fashion of hopes to make 2009 a great year of 31-Days of Horror!!!

I would love 31 days, but if I see "The Frighteners" one more time, I will break my TV. AMC, do something crazy and show a non-repeating variety; not just the same three tired movies.
I agree, 31 days would be much better than just 13 for a fan of horror films!
Remember when they used to have "Fear Fridays"? Why did they change that? I loved "Fear Fridays"!!
I'm up for starting Halloween in the middle of September!
